Short bio

Josef joined ECOVIS in 2006 after reading for Bachelor of Commerce (Management) at the University of Malta. He is a certified public accountant, a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and is also a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA).

After three years working in the audit service line, Josef moved to the accounting department in 2010. Josef advises a wide variety of local corporate and international clients operating in various industries including manufacturing, retail, shipping, hospitality, property development, pharmaceutical, and financial services. Josef leads the accountancy service line and specialises in accountancy and indirect taxation.

In 2016, Josef was appointed as a Director of the ECOVIS (Malta) Group. He is also a member of the global ECOVIS Accounting task Force and leads the sub-committee focusing on Indirect Taxation.
